ELDERBERRY HILL LLAMAS was started in the late 1990's  by Max and Barb Klecker, when their oldest granddaughter Bailey joined  the  Pierce County 4-H Program.

Animal husbandry, breeding, vetting and showing was not new to us  after 40 years in the dairy industry, along with our hobby of breeding, showing and selling Class A Miniature horses. These experiecnes helped  set the stage for our Family LLAMA Adventure.

We have been active in the Pierce County 4-H program for over 50 years and were delighted that Bailey would be interested in an animal project in 4-H.  Her Project along with the gentelness  diginity, diversity and pride of the lovely LLAMA, have won our hearts, and developed into a  family business.

We  are members  of The America Horse Registry,Wisconsin Organization of Lama Enthusiasts, Inc, Llamas of Minnesota, Project Leader in the Pierce County 4-H Llama Program,  and  the International Llama Registery

If you want to see love in Action, we are anxious to show our LLAMAS to you.  Stop by for a visit, the coffee  is always on.

Time does fly when you are enjoying your life with the beautiful LLAMA.
Here at ELDERBERRY HILL,we have watched a little 8year old with stars in her eyes when she worked with her first llama, to the self assured, knowledgeable young lady who is now a senior.
Along the way new friends were made, new skills were learned, and a  ungoing knowledge of the LLAMA was developed.
We here at the farm know that Bailey is ready for her future goals, and that LLAMAS will always remain a part of her life and love.
Way to go Bailey--Pooh too.
